2012 KAC National Convention
The Korean American Coalition will be holding the 2012 KAC National Convention at the Los Angeles Downtown Sheraton Hotel from Friday, October 26 to Sunday, October 28.
The theme of this year's convention is "KA: Political Awakening"
which reflects on the emerging political power of Korean Americans. This year's convention will focus on mobilizing and empowering the Korean American community to withstand and overcome injustices, both past and present. The goal of this convention is to empower Korean Americans politically, by helping them realize the power engagement in civic life that spans continents. The National Convention Schedule

KAC is the only national non-partisan, bilingual, community-based advocacy organization with the goal of representing and serving approximately 1.7 million Korean Americans. The purpose of this conventions is not only to talk about issues and celebrate our successes, but to also discuss how we can take action to accomplish the things that still need to be done within our communities. This conventions will be an opportunity for all involved to reaffirm their commitment to the community, generate new ideas for leadership, and build relationships to further our efforts.
