JOIN US AT SHINE – LA, AAPI DAY OF SERVICE
In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, KAC-LA is partnering in a citywide community beautification event on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 9 am to 12 noon. We will be engaging in various beautification activities and would greatly appreciate your support in volunteering in this meaningful endeavor to beautify our neighborhoods!
You are invited to join us at SHINE – LA, AAPI DAY OF SERVICE. On this day, you will have the opportunity to meet with KAC-LA Members, NCLC Alumni, and other community partners. This is an excellent opportunity to get to know other fellow NCLC 2025 Cohort Attendees before the conference in June.

In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Mayor Karen Bass and City leaders invite you to SHINE- LA, AAPI Day of Service. Angelenos from across the City will engage in a day of community service with family, friends, and neighbors. Join us as we beautify our neighborhoods from San Pedro to the San Fernando Valley. Volunteers will pick up loose litter, plant trees, remove graffiti, and more!
