Jay has over twenty years of experience with traditional, interactive, and online marketing, as well as direct response, customized events, and CRM programs. Not only has he worked with IMG Media, Direct Partners, and Open Circle, he has also led projects and campaigns for AT&T, MoneyGram, Diageo, Lexus, PlayStation, DIRECTV, UnitedHealthcare, TigerWoods.com, LPGA Events and Bowflex. The foundation of his leadership began with leading a digital production team for IMG Media, managing clients, and building interactive tools for sports marketing. Jay also put together a digital team to manage PlayStation’s CRM and loyalty program. For the past 10 years, Jay has enjoyed sharing his expertise in multicultural marketing and diversity in advertising throughout North America and across the globe. In addition to working closely with his insightful leadership team to expand his agency on a global scale, Jay speaks at numerous international conferences to showcase how multicultural outreach can impact brand growth on various levels. Jay created the AAAZA Culture Cycle™, which is a proprietary algorithm that captures the stages immigrants go through as they experience the surrounding American culture. Capturing the journey of an immigrant and how their culture evolves throughout generations and life experiences allows brands to deliver an emotional and culturally relevant message. This unique approach helps answer “how” brands speak to multicultural and immigrant consumers for each ethnic group. Jay served as President and serves as board member of 3AF (Asian American Advertising Federation) and is very passionate about diversity, multicultural advertising, and leadership. Before transitioning into the marketing field, Jay was a biochemist working on HIV and Lyme disease.
